Job Opening: Finance Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on operational and financial results relating to personnel, vehicles, and insurance.
- Analyze financial reports and data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Work closely with and assist the Finance team to support budget, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Generate payroll reports and analyze trends to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Recommend tools and assist in overseeing the future implementation and utilization of processes.
- Manage bank reconciliations, debits and credits, general ledger reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management.
- Assist with miscellaneous Finance tasks requested by the Finance team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Experience with month-end closing processes and creating financial documents.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct a plus/preferred)
- Advanced level in Excel including Pivot Tables, VLookups, and complex formulas
- Strong understanding of payroll processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departments
This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and is an onsite role, based at one of Tower WAV’s locations in San Francisco, CA. General office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE + Bonuses
