Associate Therapist for Mental Health Outpatient Program
Palm Desert, CAJob Opening: Associate Therapist for Mental Health Outpatient Program
Schedule: Part-Time with weekend availability.
Location: Palm Desert, CA
Description: High-end residential treatment program for adults struggling with substance abuse seeks dedicated Associate Therapist to join our team!
Duties:
1. Provide individual, group, and family therapy to case load of 5 clients.
2. Run groups daily (5-6 groups per week).
3. Conducts client psychosocial assessment, develops and monitors the implementation of individualized treatment plans, carries out client intake process, and is available to solve any pertinent issues.
4. Review patient analysis, random drug tests, and facilitate therapy sessions.
Requirements
1. AMFT, ACSW, or APCC. (New grads are welcomed).
2. Must have a valid associate number from the BBS.
3. Experience working with mental health in a treatment center preferred but not required.
4. Able to work in a fast paced setting, under pressure, and maintain open, and proper communication.
5. Good physical and mental health.
6. Experience in providing direct services to individuals, families and groups.
7. Good Computer skills. Ability to navigate an Electronic Health Records System. KIPU experience a plus.
8. Must be able to pass a background check/TB Test/Drug Screening.
Compensation: $28-$32 per hour plus supervision.
