Position Title: Outreach Specialist for Addiction Medicine (Remote)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outreach Specialist for our Addiction Medicine program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse treatment, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of insurance processes. This role is crucial for building relationships with clients, hospitals, and community organizations to enhance our outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement:
- Conduct outreach to potential clients, providing information about our addiction treatment services.
- Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and guide them through the intake process.
 
  • Community Relations:
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote our services and increase awareness of addiction treatment options.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
- Complete comprehensive assessments for clients seeking treatment, ensuring accurate documentation of their needs and circumstances.
- Utilize assessment results to recommend appropriate treatment options and resources.
  • Insurance Knowledge:
- Navigate insurance processes to assist clients in understanding their coverage options and benefits related to addiction treatment.
  • Communication Skills:
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
- Provide follow-up communication to clients and partners, addressing any questions or concerns regarding services.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in substance abuse treatment or a related field.
- Strong understanding of addiction medicine and the treatment landscape.
- Proven ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems for tracking outreach activities and client interactions.
- Knowledge of local resources and support services for individuals struggling with addiction.

Compensation: $68,000-$75,000 DOE with medical and retirement benefits
