Job Opening: Fleet Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Responsible for strategic planning, policy implementation, and overall management of the fleet and its resources. Fleet manager also serves as the primary contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition.
- Develop and implement policies and training and improve fleet processes.
- Responsible for all aspects of operation for a full-fledged vehicle maintenance facility (maintenance, repair, replacement, disposal, etc.).
- Direct supervision, hiring and evaluating the work of employees as a first-line supervisor.
- Monitor and ensure the company’s compliance with state, federal, and local legal requirements, and suggest the best practices, modifications, and reviews to maintain adherence.
- Stay updated on the best regulatory measures, practices, and new technologies in fleet operations management to support business especially in the EV space.
- Develop and apply departmental budgets that is inclusive of HC, maintenance, repair, etc. in line with company P&L constraints.
- Ensure unit compliance with all Federal, State & Local laws and regulations related to vehicle repair shop operations and vehicle and mobile equipment use and care.
- Experience in price, specs, and purchase or lease vehicle using total cost of ownership (TCO) as guide in line with revenue expectations.
- Perform other duties as per the requirements of the organization.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignment to replacing cycling due to life cycle strategy.
- Experience as an auto mechanic or certification is preferred.
Compensation: $80,000-86,000 plus benefits.
