Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 1st Shift:  6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday / Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed
Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Set up and operate Sheet Metal Equipment
  • Perform forming operations such as hydroforming, forming, punching, coining, sizing, drawing, and related support operations.
  • Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection devices.
  • Follow written instructions and drawings.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
  • Must be able to proficiently read and interpret Aerospace blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, self-starter

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
  • Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping, feeling, twisting, bending and repetitive motion
  • The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
