Houston, TX
Personal Injury Attorney

Houston, TX, United States

Job Description

This role is ideal for a Texas-licensed personal injury attorney who thrives on structure, process, and systems thinking. You will be responsible not only for managing personal injury cases but also for building the firm’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and form libraries that will define the foundation of our Texas office.

The right candidate will be both a skilled litigator and a systems architect—someone who understands how to translate experience into repeatable, high-performing processes that deliver consistent excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and SOP Development (Primary Focus)

    • Design and document end-to-end workflows for all Texas PI operations (intake, pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and disbursement).

    • Standardize forms, templates, and correspondence for attorney and paralegal use.

    • Define case-handling benchmarks, communication protocols, and escalation pathways.

    • Collaborate with leadership to ensure Texas procedures align with firm-wide systems.

  • Case Management and Legal Execution

    • Handle a limited docket of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.

    • Evaluate cases, conduct client interviews, and oversee discovery and settlement processes.

    • Negotiate claims and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and strategic advocacy.

  • Leadership and Collaboration

    • Serve as the Texas process leader and liaison with Florida headquarters.

    • Train and mentor junior attorneys and support staff on new systems and procedures.

    • Participate in regular cross-departmental meetings to refine processes and ensure operational consistency.

Compensation and Details

  • Salary: $120,000 – $175,000 (commensurate with experience and proven process-building ability).

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM CST or EST.

  • Location: Houston, Texas (onsite leadership required for minimum of one year).

  • Comprehensive benefits, professional development, and opportunity to grow into a leadership role as Texas operations expand.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license (required).

  • Minimum 5+ years of personal injury experience, with strong understanding of both pre-lit and litigation practices.

  • Demonstrated success in building or implementing SOPs or systematized workflows in a law firm environment.

  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate legal expertise into clear, replicable procedures.

  • Strong leadership, accountability, and organizational skills.

  • Deep commitment to professional integrity, client service, and team collaboration.

Additional Information

You will be joining a mission-driven firm that combines excellence with heart. Your impact will go beyond individual cases—you will be creating the systems that will define our Texas legacy for years to come.  Join the firm and help us make a difference in the lives of our clients—one case at a time.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
