Associate Attorney, Construction & Engineering

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Simi Valley, CA. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, handling construction and engineering law matters, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and negotiating on behalf of clients. The role involves working closely with clients to provide strategic counsel and resolve legal disputes effectively.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience as an Attorney in a law firm or in-house environment. 
• Strong foundation and expertise in Law, with a focus on Construction and Engineering Law
• Proficiency in providing Legal Advice and developing client-focused strategies
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough Research to support legal matters
• Skilled in effective Negotiation and dispute resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in California
• Previous litigation experience is a plus
