Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Document Preparation: Handle the entire discovery process, including responding to discovery requests, communicating with clients, and summarizing discovery materials.
Records Management: Summarize and manage voluminous records, such as medical records.
Legal Writing: Produce high-quality legal documents and correspondence.
Litigation Support: Assist with litigation calendars, trial deadlines, and the preparation of trial binders and exhibits.
Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Prior experience as a Legal Secretary.
Extensive experience in insurance defense (personal injury and construction defect).
Proficiency in handling the discovery process.
Strong legal writing skills.
Familiarity with litigation calendars and trial deadlines.
Location: Long Beach, CA
Employment Type: Full-time (40-hour work week)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 plus benefits
